Due to popular damand here is a new post:
So the rabbit asked wise lion "what is your name?" and he replied " Gongo ". Ahh a fine name.
Ok so its been a while since our blog has been updated, sorry to all fans ;) and I guess the biggest news is that we played the AU open the other weekend (that is where my rabbit met Gongo) and as per usual we kicked some ass in the round robins only to be defeated in the final *damnit!*
Let it be known- we will have our revenge on UNSW!!!
And that day shall be next weekend (not this one) when they visit us! Yay!

Meeting on Thursday
So i felt like our blog was being neglected and also I wanted to share this picture with everyone, it somehow fits into our robots theme. I always thought of Dr Smith as a little creepy, but this picture just confirms it. I have no idea why he had to hike his leg up on the robot, what does that mean??!
Anyway I used to have the most awesome keychain thing, it was of Robot B9. When you pressed the head in it would say "warning warning" or "danger Will Robinson, danger" or "that does not compute" how cool is that?!!! Then eventually the battery started to die and the words became dragged out and it was like "daaangerr Wiiilll Robbiiinsonn..." also its plastic legs got all squashed and cracked up, as you can see in the picture they are not made from the most sturdy of plastics, and finally its little claw broke off.
btw meeting thurs 11 am!

Banana Puccho Day
Today is a momentus day in history; the release of not only banana puccho BUT ALSO choc coated banana puccho in our lab! From this day forth the 16th of Febuary shall be known as Banana Puccho Day.
OK so bannana puccho I can understand but choc coated puccho?? Thats just crazy! Well its its not as crazy as you'd think- it came about because banana puccho was cold and so he put on a chocolate coat!! You can visit www.puccho.jp for more stories of yougurt boy and his freinds!
Please post any banana or choc coated banana reviews here and feel free to nominate your favorite puccho flavor. Personally I think pineapple is my favorite, but I have to say both bananas were awesome.
Thank you to Stephen for his connections and his generosity in sharing such a precious commodity, thank you to yoghurt boy for his new friendhip with banana, and finally a special thanks to Ms Gwen Seffani, who made the spelling "bananas" so much easier for me in this post.
Meeting on 23rd of February
There will be a meeting at 11am on the 23rd of February in the lab.
Consequently the jelly wrestling has been pushed back to 2pm. Jelly needs to go in the fridge the evening before!!!!

NUGOD FTW
Work is progressing with the new Debug application NUGOD (Newcastle University General Online Debugger) , however more bugs or "features" are always being found with Microsoft's compiler which is making simple tasks more complex.
The app takes over from the older EOTN program, and offers better modulation of the different parts to allow each member of the NUBOT team to have their own display from the one program.
Currently NUGOD contains the dog code and runs correctly, however without the lookup tables the simulation does not take place. I hope to have the tables implemented in the next day or so.
